As with the Home Shirt, the sponsors again for the 2009/10 season are Samsung which is displayed on the front of the shirt across the midriff below the Chelsea badge.
The new Chelsea Away Shirt for the 2009/10 season is once again manufactured by Adidas. The shirt uses a majestic navy blue as its base colour, with four lighter-blue horizontal stripes on the front only. As Adidas continue to manufacture the shirts for the Blues, they have their logo in yellow in the middle as do Samsung, the shirt sponsors who also have their logo in yellow. No Chelsea Away Shirt would be right without the club crest which has a yellow background. The Chelsea lion holding its staff which appears on the crest is reproduced at the back of the neck in white. The Adidas 3-stripes will be yellow and the sleeves will have a yellow trim. The collar will be fold-over style with yellow edges.
