Chelsea home shirt 09/10
Over the last couple seasons, Chelsea have launched their new Chelsea Home Shirt at the end of the previous season and it is then worn for any cup final they appear in just for the last few league games of that season. The Chelsea 09/10 Home Shirt was no different and was launched at the end of the 08/09 season and worn in the final premier league matches but not the 2009 FA Cup Final as Chelsea lost the toss for the right to wear their home shirt against Everton who also wear blue.
The sponsors again for the 2009/10 season are Samsung which is displayed on the front of the shirt across the midriff below the Chelsea badge.
The new Chelsea Home Shirt for the 2009/10 season is once again manufactured by Adidas. A reflex blue colour the 09/10 Home Shirt has the white Adidas stripes on the shoulders and sleeve-ends. As with many new shirts currently being manufactured by Adidas there is a neat design touch which is what can only be described as rubber piping running down from the neckline, with the club name, in this case Chelsea FC written in white on it. The Chelsea Home Shirt 09/10 is complemented by blue shorts and white socks. The fabric used is ClimaCool which strives to keep players dry, cool and comfortable. The new home shirt was first worn on the 17th May against Blackburn, which was the penultimate match of the Premier League season 08/09.
